| Guided visits
For school and business groups we have guided tours
in charge of our Department of Environmental Education
that are structured offering an awareness in regards
to care and preservation of natural resources.
Playground area for Children
Playgrounds for children are very important in every
family recreation area and in the Plateau of the Park,
there is an area dedicated to this entertainment. There
are wooden games with sliding platforms, seesaws, hand
rails, hanging bridge, etc. You will spend a very pleasant
day in this playground.
Picnic Area
In the Park we have sites where there are tables and
benches placed so you may enjoy a pleasant picnic. You
may find them along the road or in the Empalme Plateau
or La Meseta Plateau.
Trails and walking paths
Definitely the greatest attraction of the Park is having
trails and paths where you may exercise or only for
the pleasure of enjoying a mild forest landscape.
Hills you may visit
The Park has four hills (The “M”, La Ventana,
Las Antenas, and Copete del Aguila) that are frequently
visited by those people who like challenges. Due to
safety and handling the environment, the Park keeps
a registration control for people ascending these hills
so those who want to visit them must contact the Park
Direction and request an approval.
Guides to get to the hills
When it is requested in advance, the Park offers a Guide
service, who will take you to the desired peak and will
make the tour pleasant with explanations in regards
to the natural resources of the Park. There is a contribution
requested for this service.
Approval for climbing the hills.
