A beautiful natural area covering 1,625 hectares with abundant plant and animal life, in the mountain, with an excellent weather, in an atmosphere surrounded by the forest; Chipinque is one of the most important natural sites in the region due to its near distance to Monterrey, besides the services and attractions it offers Chipinque Ecologic Park promotes a culture of respect and appreciation to nature, while preserving and strengthening its bio-diversity guaranteeing the current and future generations this invaluable natural patrimony. One can carry out a great number of different activities in Chipinque, enjoying being in contact with nature.

Playgrounds for children are essential and very important in every family recreation site and in the Plateau of the Park, there is an area dedicated to this entertainment. You will also find a Picnic Area, where there are picnic tables and benches so you may enjoy nature here. These sites are located along the main road or at the Plateau. In order to promote family sharing and to experience nature, we have a Camping area within our recreation activities that is located at the Mesa del Epazote, the best observation area in the Park. Ideal to enjoy some relaxing after going on an excursion.

Tirolesa is a new and very fun activity where, wearing all the hiking equipment (harness, pulleys, helmet, knee protectors and gloves) you slide on a steel cable from one tower to another, this activity will give you the most realistic feeling of how birds fly, since sometimes, you will travel above the treetops. Under the supervision of experts, people like you, who enjoy adventure and adrenaline, throw themselves into the air to live this experience.

You will be able to experience the emotion of reaching the peak through rock climbing, with the possibility of being supported by experts that will help you and teach you the techniques for climbing through the tower, using hands, feet and mainly your desire to get to the peak. With the expert’s support, you will have a rope placed in the harness and have you ascend safely and once you reach the peak, you must descend using the descending rappel techniques, do you accept the challenge?
